In 1931, the Elseroad family opened the store still know to some as  "The Farm Store" and now called Chestnut Ridge Market. The dirt floor country store sold all the necessities from local produce to dry goods and Sinclair gasoline. In 2004 the Bradleys, Charlie and his wife Myrna, took over the operation of the store bringing with them their family recipies, ideas and their children Jen, Anthony and Christian who now work in the store. The property is still owned by the original Elseroad family but the Bradley's have made the market their own. The food prepared in the market is made just as they would make it at home using the best recipies and quality ingredients. Over the past 12 years the Bradleys have grown to consider the surrounding community as extended family.
